A great retreat and one that will become a tradition. The amenities and equipment are super. One suggestion from the one who slept in the computer room -- some curtains or some type of covering for the glass door to the scrap room so the light from those staying up later does not shine directly onto the bed, or make up the bed with the head towards the scrap room to accomplish the same effect. Thanks. You have done such a wonderful job decorating the home and meeting the guests needs.

I am not a scrap booker>>>but I have six girlfriends that are all hitting 40 yrs of age...i am confused about the price ...can you let me know how much that is for a weekend of just getting away..we all live in ellis county. sharon

Wonderful place to get away and scrap till you drop!! A group of us stayed at the SMI in April and loved it! The rooms are wonderfully decorated with scrap inspirations all around. There is plenty of room in the bedrooms, dining room, and kitchen. Not to mention the great scrap room complete with chick flicks! Our group has already made reservations for end of summer retreat. Susie and Randall have thought of everything and made a great inn to stay and scrap. thank you
